Rock the Vote

"Pick" Brian III for President
The Dragon that Breathes Like Fire
Okay so every so often they rename the Children's Version of Voting for the President

Rock the Vote, Kids Choice, Kids pick the President is this years Version.

What I want to know is, can anyone remember any other clever slogans used for this process.

I may not be the only one amused by this next story. Brian came in from school today with a paper packet about both presidential candidates. He told me, "I picked the President today!" I asked, who did you pick? His response was "I picked this guy!" as he pointed to Barack Obama. I was curious what lead him to his choice, so I probed a little further. He told me he liked his face. I said what is it about his face that you like. "His smile and his Hair. That is the kind of hair that I want, It is barely bald, but it is just short." He said we have the same color hair too. Brian is obsessed with wanting to be bald. I asked if he thinks John McCain is a little bit bald and he said no he just has grey hair. I am incredibly impressed at how he rattles off their full names each time. I don't even know if I can say, Barack Obama and John McCain as impressively as this 6 year old. And I like the name of Barack Obama, was his final explanation for the vote he cast.

He also told me, " And we should have a daughter, and name her Miss Princey or Miss Princess. I asked if he has any other great ideas, and he said no. But when Griffin is 5 or 6 we should have another boy, so Griffin can change all of the diapers.

He told me that his friend Wesley didn't vote for Barack Obama. I asked him why, and he said he just didn't. "You get to choose, and you can change your mind. I am out of ideas, if I get some food then I will get some more ideas. When I have food that is when I get my best ideas."

I asked him if I should tell everyone to get out and vote. He said yes. Who should I tell them to vote for. He said, "Tell them to vote for Brian or Griffin, because those are the 2 best boys!

There you have it. Two excellent Write in Candidates!!! Rock the Vote Y'all!

Isn't it funny how much little kids pick up on?! Jackson has been totally into the election. He has been switching from one candidate to the other depending on what comercial he has heard that day. Kids are the best!

I think you should compile all the things Brian says and write a book.

I agree Dixie.

My personal favorite was back when he associated the word "friend" with people you play video games with. I'd say don't shoot Uncle Justin, he's on your team, he's your friend.

"I don't like mosquitoes because they don't play Halo...and they don't have feet."

Currently all of Brian's hard spelling words are his Enemies. Go Figure.

Very funny, your boys are hillarious! My kids wanted John McCain and Sarah Palin to win, because that's what Austin and I dressed up as for Halloween.

One more... those aren't my Christmas pictures, those are from a year and a half ago! I'm not as good as you think I am. :)

They definitely get my vote! Too bad that "Barack Obama" guy got voted in. The dragon that breathes fire would've been so much better...especially after some good food in his stomach. Maybe we need to feed Barack more to get some better ideas. What do you think? Cute post!
