Life is a Highway...

The boys all went to Las Vegas this weekend.
Brian was having his unbirthday. When your birthday comes but once every 4 years, it rarely ever feels like your birthday. Time with his favorite people was sure to infuse birthday bliss! We are not the biggest of cake fans, so what better solution than Papa John's a glow with birthday candles?!!Uncle Justin thought it was a clever idea!

This picture cracked me up. Griffin has definitely embraced his inner race car driver!! These boys love going to Vegas to see the Daw's. One thing is for certain, the Daw's know how to show the love! The kids never seem to lack for something to do.
What would a Vegas trip be without the Bellagio Water Show? Griffin was a fan.
One day we were walking around the Daw's neighborhood and saw this cute purple car sitting by the trash can. I said to Brenda, "Do you think they are throwing that away?" As we approached the house the owner stepped out and it was someone she went to church with. When she asked about it he said, "It doesn't work most of the time, but your welcome to have it." Sold! We took it back to Tutu and Papa's and it has worked during every visit. It may be a purple car that says, "Princess," but that doesn't keep My 3 Daw's from having fun.
Who doesn't love licking frosting from beaters?

Yes everyone had a wonderful time visiting the Daw's in Las Vegas. Sports were Played. Members were assembled to create the ultimate "Rock Band." Cinnamon Rolls were ingested. Sports Cars were driven. Yes, I would say everyone enjoyed this vacation, except for maybe Ginny Dog! She probably thinks it is possible to experience too much of a good thing!

When Bri was in the purple car Justin said "Hey Bri, you're in a purple car". Brian responded "I don't care as long as it goes fast."

Also, on the pizza cake, since I was turning 8 1/4 there is a 1/4 candle wedged in the middle. And yes, Justin was the culprit that ate those two missing pieces.

I'm sorry, did I hear you right that you guys aren't cake fans?!?!!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! :) Hehehe. This is coming from the sugar carb-aholic, don't mind me. Looks like lots of fun in Vegas. Happy Unbirthday to Brian. Tatum's birthday is the 28th of February and people always say to us, "Oh, almost a leap year baby, huh!" And I'm like, "Not really since it wasn't leap year that year..." However, Brian could just capitalize on the no birthday thing and celebrate it from Feb. 28 through March 1...just to cover his bases. Just a thought. More pizza to enjoy that way...you crazy cake-haters.

Cake is totally overrated!! You need to teach me how to send my husband and boys 6 hours away on his birthday....sounds like bliss!! Do any shopping this time?

Happy 8 and 1/4 Birthday Bubba!

Depressing! A real birthday only once every four years????????
And I LOVE the pizza idea, we're not big cake fans here either.

the pizza idea is great, esp with lil bri being allergic to eggs. Looks like they had a great time, if only you hadnt hurt your ankle, hindering your shopping abilities. Thanks for watching Scarlett while you re cooperated.

Happy UN Birthday! I LOVE cake, and I love pizza. So maybe I could have candles in both for my birthday...hmmmm...just a thought. Wendy, sorry about your ankle! I missed you this weekend at our ride/run. I haven't seen you in forever. Guess we'll catch up tonight at the "meeting". :)
