Love My Boys

All of my pictures are on my camera...
Love is in the air
Valentine's is almost here
We'll know if we are having a boy or girl in 10 days!!
We are all excited to know will it be pink or blue.
Let's face it...we are pretty sure it is BLUE! :)
We can't go wrong either way!

A Word To The Wise...

Wise Men...
Still...
Seek Him!
And for those who seek Him,
The greatest gifts of
Peace and Joy are found!

Merry Christmas!
From our Wise men
To yours!

Blessed with Boys

My boys shared messages in church in English and Spanish
To say I was proud is a gross understatement!

If I were to create the perfect dream of three children,
I wouldn't have to go to sleep to enjoy such an experience.
Each son has mastered a full year of infant night waking,
Survived severe ear infections,
Triumphed at toddler terrorism ages 1, 2, 3 or 4,
And all are blazing trails through beloved boyhood.

I am grateful to Heavenly Father,
My husband and these sweet boys,
For all the joys I experience in this life.

Back To School Boys

Had to start the first day of preschool by creating an A man...man made out of the letter A. Lincoln quickly decided A-Man needed Camo pants "wike me."
Lincoln was impressed with our new friend.
I am happy with his interest in the letter A.
This is our first year going to school with cousins.
Very exciting for us.
Sage and Griffin share a kindergarten class...
It is probably safe to say Lincoln remains her favorite!
Our Brian, the big bad 4th grader, is quite pleased with his new spectacles.
His best friend also wears glasses, no doubt increasing his love for them.
A few hours after putting on the new glasses he said,
"Things just keep getting better and better for me."
He is right.

We have a great carpool for Lincoln's school.
Lincoln also has a Thursday play group.
Brian & Griff can walk to school around the corner.
We are wicked close to the school, and Brian is so responsible.
Yep. Life is good.

We Will, We Will, Rock You!

Blue Hair.
Check.
Mohawk.
Check.
Ready to rock Crazy Hair Day?
Check.
My Heroes are ready for Halloween.
But is Halloween ready for my Super Heroes?
Villains be afraid. Be very afraid!
Do you find it alarming that I
encourage
flying off of the couch?
Me too.

Monkey See, Monkey Do

Sarah is the proud owner of a Zoo Membership.
She graciously invited her sisters to bring our
monkeys to the Zoo.

We ordered up fun
And got on our way
The leisurely safari ride
through the zoo was grand
As an unexpected breeze
Lent a helping hand
The snow cones were divine.
Big enough to share.

The animals were glad to see us.
Above is my proof that it's true.
The baby orangutan made a face and posed for me too.
The water park was the real fan favorite!
Welcome refreshment from the heat.
Next time I will think of more creative excuses
To get soaked by the water falls!
Why shouldn't mom's get wet too?

After all...
When life is this good,
Who wouldn't want to enjoy it?

Totally Dawsome!!

This wouldn't be my blog
Without a little rhyme
Forgive me in advance
And indulge me with your time

This week was packed with silliness
Everyday brought something new
Bedtime antics were at a high
Bunny ears and Bad shorts, to name a few
Plenty of shorts available for bed
He preferred these pants,
He converted to shorts instead

I thought they were hilarious,
Incredibly funny.
Would you purchase these with some of your money?

Making faces and striking poses
Lincoln and Griffin are always at play

Take a picture, take a picture
They constantly say

Excitement and adventure
Are easy to find
When you are young
And of such a keen mind

They wondered what it was like to have a belly big and round
So they stuffed their shirts with the animals they found
Griffin's belly was a bit more realistic
Lincoln's looked entirely crazy
They were the proud parents of Mousey
And a bunny named Maizy DaizyCreativity flourished
All opportunities for fun were explored
They were certainly hip
And rarely ever bored

It was hard to contain this much coolness
There was more than our share of awesome
One thing was abundantly clear
This week has been totally Dawsome

3 Boys & A Baby

Recently a friend of Brian's had a family emergency
and needed a babysitter.
My 3 Daws were first on the scene
to render assistance.
I am quite sure these first time parents had NO clue
how much attention little LV would receive.
Brian gave him the most entertaining ride
of his young life.

Lincoln trained him in the art of coolness.
Griffin brought LV up to speed
on all of our Top Secrets.
Love was shared and received in abundance.
LV secured a permanent place in our hearts.
We're happy to report that
No children were harmed in the process.

News From The Edge

This just in
Pictures from March.
Late Breaking Info: Lincoln turned 3 !
Every type of impromptu celebration transpired.

A campfire was enjoyed.
Marshmallows were devoured.

Recent studies show that tents are becoming obsolete
As gas prices escalate more families discover
The best of camping
Can be achieved in Grandpa's backyard.

In recent developments,
2 eyed Petey, the fish from preschool joined the ranks.
The kids built him a home.
Sang him a song.
Fed him Lemon heads.
Alas, his life was too short.
There was an estate sale on Saturday.
Proceeds will go to the nonprofit
Save a Fish Foundation.
In Griffin's sad words, "Now we only have 5 members of our family again."

A service was held, and he was buried in the backyard.
Little Brian refused to give Petey a watery grave as
"That is where all the pee and poop goes."
Please do NOT send a new pet in lieu of flowers.

In unrelated news,
Bowl hats continue to be all the rage.

The Knights Who Say Ni!

We always have fun
We've been running about
King Arthur's Court, the Zoo, and More
When Dad is in Charge, it's Never a Snore

Mom has been working
Like a good girl should
But when it comes to blogging
She could use some serious flogging

Mom flew to Minnesota
And ran in the snow
What was she thinking?
We really don't know!

Brian celebrated another
100 days in school...

Because of these glasses
We all think it's cool!!!

Tho I cannot report that
All our days have been lazy
As far as I know
we've not yet gone crazy!!

Easter Jubilance

I wanted to share some of our Easter Joys.
Pictures tell the story of My 3 Daw Boys.

First, through the expressions of our little Lincoln.
Consumed lots of candy, exuberantly shared what he was thinkin.

Next comes our Griffin, his enthusiasm can't be bested
He played with every present, and with many he rested.
Lastly, our Brian, made goofy faces 'till we captured this sight.
He inspired the boys to reveal their muscles and fight!
Shirts were removed, while candy was eaten.
Muscles were flexed, yet no one was beaten.
When posing involves muscles, everything is easy.
Expressions are hilarious, and none of them cheesy.
Gap had a clearance on pink shirts for boys.
Who'd have imagined they'd be cheaper than toys?

Reverence was taken for this special day.

Family gathered and feasted away.

One sister was missing, moved not long ago.

Her absence was felt, more than she'll know.

We took time to remember God's special Son.

For His tremendous sacrifice for all, and for one.

This was the best Easter I have preserved thus far.

It captured my tiny treasures, each a brilliant star.

I am grateful to He who protected their light.

For His sacred gift, my heart's true delight.
