Easy to Please

Lincoln's Birthday was a full day of fun.
Bold
I believe basketball is intricately woven through the Daw DNA.
What better way to start off the birthday boy than lunch and games at Peter Piper Pizza?
Lincoln and Brian had a great time shooting hoops.
I look forward to planning an elaborate birthday party in the future. In case you didn't catch the subliminal message in the previous statement, thus far the procrastinator within has prevented me from all out birthday extravaganzas.
Luckily, my small children do not know the difference between party extraordinare and cupcakes at the park with family! Griffin was quite impressed by the rings lovingly placed on the cupcakes by Fry's Bakery.

Lincoln had hair raising fun whooshing down the slide and consuming cupcakes. Papa was his best friend for giving him a 3rd cupcake! Thanks Papa!
Blue frosting never tasted so good, nor made such a mess!
My favorite thing about 2 year olds? One present is more than enough. If it weren't for brothers and cousins, the night may never have ended!

Don't forget Lincoln trying to tell his PaPa that he wanted icing and when PaPa gave him "ice cream" he did the flexing muscles, Hulkmeister growl. He's a keeper! :) TuTu

Gotta love that easy to please attitude and the winning smile that he applies to every interaction. Such a lovebug! ...Gma Shum

I think you're very wise to keep the birthday party bar low. I'm always mildly disgusted with people who pull out all the stops for their tiny, little kids -- when in fact the kid would be just as happy with, as you say, cupcakes at the park. Save the big guns for when they're old enough to appreciate the effort.

He's so cute. My baby is almost 2, as well. They grow so fast.

It was a fun park night, I like the smaller parties myself. That's a great picture of him coming down the slide, love the static hair.

You are smarter than I to keep the birthday soirees to a minimum. I never had b-day parties growing up since mine falls on Labor Day weekend and we always had family BBQ's, so I feel like I need to relive all my b-day party dreams through my kiddos. It's a costly mistake that I am now trying to get a better handle on! ;o) Your boys are such handsome devils.
